Grilled Pork Chops and Vegetables
Chops
1/2 cup Dales Steak Marinade
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
6-8 pork chops
Mix all ingredients except pork chops well. Marinade pork chops overnight in the refrigerator.
Place on grill until done. Turning every few minutes.
Vegetables (cabbage is the base for the vegetables
and you can use any type of other vegetable you like, here are the ones we like - squash, carrots, etc.)
1 head of cabbage (cored and cut into wedges)
1 onion (cut into wedges)
1 bell pepper (cut into strips)
2 celery ribs (cut into 1-2" pieces)
1/2 # mushrooms (cut in half or slices)
4-5 bacon strips (cooked and crumbled)
3 small potatoes (chunked)
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon Natures Own Seasoning
Spread vegetables on a large sheet of aluminum foil (enough to fold into a pouch) or in a ready-made
foil pouch. Dot with butter. Sprinkle crumbled bacon. Sprinkle with seasoning. Seal.
Grill on top rack while pork chops are being grilled on bottom rack. Flip once being careful not to puncture foil pouch.
Remove after about 30-40 minutes and serve with pork chops. YUMMM.
